The next morning, Amy was awake and out the door by 7 am to meet Rob for breakfast. I asked her if she wanted me to go so I could thank him personally for the trip. She told me that it wasn’t necessary as they would talk shop and, besides, Rob wanted to have dinner with us that evening. Rob’s wife would be there so I needed to wear a sport coat and slacks. I grimaced, agreed and settled into the room and enjoyed my day.
